En la solana de la Sierra de Pe\u00f1as Blancas se extiende el Valle de Sierra Utrera<\/b><\/span>, una parcela municipal de 140.000\u202fm\u00b2 declarada zona de inter\u00e9s cient\u00edfico<\/b><\/span> por su extraordinaria biodiversidad.<\/p>\n

Este enclave natural alberga una de las mayores concentraciones de orqu\u00eddeas silvestres<\/b><\/span> de Extremadura. Gracias a la variedad de suelos y al excelente estado de conservaci\u00f3n del entorno, aqu\u00ed pueden encontrarse al menos la mitad de las 45 especies<\/b><\/span> registradas en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Las orqu\u00eddeas se distribuyen por diferentes biotopos: desde laderas con matorral y dehesas abiertas, hasta riberas de arroyos, zonas de pastizal o antiguos bancales de cultivo.<\/p>\n

Pero su valor no es solo bot\u00e1nico. Sierra Utrera es tambi\u00e9n un refugio ecol\u00f3gico clave<\/b><\/span>, que aporta conocimiento cient\u00edfico y belleza natural al paisaje de La Zarza. Un entorno discreto, pero de gran importancia para la flora, la fauna y la sostenibilidad del territorio.<\/p>\n
