Declarado Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural<\/b><\/span>, el Abrigo de La Calderita<\/b><\/span> se encuentra a solo 2 km de La Zarza, en plena Sierra de Pe\u00f1as Blancas. Es uno de los yacimientos m\u00e1s destacados de Extremadura para conocer el arte rupestre prehist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n

Descubierto a mediados del siglo XX, este abrigo natural alberga centenares de figuras esquem\u00e1ticas en color rojo<\/b><\/span>, realizadas con trazos de distintos grosores. Se pintaron directamente sobre la roca con la yema de los dedos o con pinceles artesanales de fibra vegetal o animal.<\/p>\n

Las pinturas se distribuyen a lo largo de una gran pared cuarc\u00edtica de m\u00e1s de diez metros, convirtiendo este enclave en un aut\u00e9ntico lienzo ancestral al aire libre.<\/p>\n

La visita al abrigo forma parte del recorrido de nuestras dos rutas principales: Ruta Pe\u00f1as Blancas<\/b><\/span> y X Leguas Serranas<\/b><\/span>, que lo cruzan como uno de sus puntos clave.<\/p>\n
